This is one of the most ancient of the Church's liturgies and is different from the other liturgies in that the Bishop and Priests stand at the Altar facing the congregation and Holy Communion is distributed to the people in a similar way as is normally given to the Priests - i.e. the Body of Christ is given separately and then the Blood of Christ is taken directly from the chalice.
His Grace Bishop Ezekiel of Dervis will be presiding together with several Clergy from Melbourne. |
